The book uses data and graphs for students to see the implications of these theories on our economy. The textbook uses economic models to determine equilibrium in an economy and explain what causes fluctuations in economic activity. It also describes fiscal and monetary policy tools and evaluates their relative effectiveness on the Canadian economy, outlining the Government’s and Bank of Canada’s roles in stabilizing the economy.
