NSCC Edition
This version is modified and adapted for use at NSCC in the School of Access. Connie McPherson adapted the textbook, Introduction to Sociology – 2nd Canadian Edition, to more closely match the outcomes taught at NSCC with input from other instructors who teach in the School of Access.
- theoretical content not covered in NSCC course removed
- plain language – sections of text revised to make easier to read
- some new content added – Nova Scotia examples
- new first person account shared by Shirley Christmas added to chapter 8 Racism and Discrimination.
BC Campus Edition Edits
