Access to NSCC Pressbooks is connected to projects.
Adopting an Open Textbook
- Adopting is defined as using an Open Textbook “as is” with no changes.
- You can place a request to have an open textbook added to the NSCC Pressbooks network.
- Please complete the NSCC Pressbooks Request Form
- Pressbooks accounts are not required to add, read, or share the open textbook.
Adapting an Open Textbook
- Adapting is defined as modifying an Open Textbook in some way.
- Adaptation projects must include a project plan and a remixing plan.
- Templates are available:
- Upload the completed forms when you submit a NSCC Pressbooks Book Request.
- Your book request will also initiate a training request.
- Note: NSCC Pressbooks training must be completed before receiving a Pressbooks account and editing access.

Course Packs
Many NSCC Course packs are now published in Pressbooks. You can convert your course pack to a Pressbooks hosted version.
