Move In
Our goal is to provide a process that is efficient and welcoming. The Coordinator, Campus Housing and other campus staff may also host a parents/supporter’s session on campus during move in day.
Room Assessment Form
When you move in (and when you move out), you will be asked to complete a Room Assessment form. This is an opportunity to verify the condition of your Campus Housing room, the furnishings present (and condition) at the time of move in to ensure that students are not held responsible for any issues or damages that existed upon arrival. This form must be submitted within the first week of occupancy or the conditions already on file will be taken as correct and accepted. Suites will have individual room (private room) assessment forms completed, with an additional shared common space form completed for the suite.
Fall Move In
For all students assigned to a space on campus, you will be emailed in prior to move in with further details regarding move-in day, directions, timing, and expectations. This communication will be after the August payment deadline and sent to your W# email address.
Winter Move In
When you begin your campus housing journey in the winter term, you may be moving into a space with a roommate who has already been on campus since September. For all students assigned to a space, you will receive an email prior to your move-in with additional details regarding the move-in process, including directions, timing, and expectations. This communication will be sent to your W# email address
Spring Move In
We also host students from NSCC and other partnered institutions during the Spring and Summer terms. Students already residing in campus housing should be prepared to move to a different room or suite, as necessary, due to operational requirements.
